The Bible provides us with many, many models of prayer, which, of course, are aids (for cripples like me) to praying. Here is one I find myself regularly in need of using from Psalm 19:
"Let the words of my mouth
and the meditation of my heart
be acceptable in your sight,
O YHWH, my rock and my redeemer."
